TROLL (2022)

Troll is a Norwegian monster mythological movie which was distributed by Netflix.

The movie was directed by Roar Uthaug , written by Espen Aukan

Starring Ine Marie Wilman, Kim  S Falck Jorgensen, Mads Sjogard Pettersen and many more.

This movie which was released on December 1 st on Netflix gained popularity because it was a family friendly monster movie with minimum bloodshed and violence after a long time.

The movie is worth a casual watch , and fairly entertaining . I think Children might enjoy it  because of the massive , strange looking monster.

STORY

One day the living creature from the Norwegian myths called troll , came back to life and is wreaking havoc over Norway. The people and authorities doesn't know what causes the initial problems like earthquake , destruction of houses and structures , and the big footprints .

A scientist named Nora Tidemann and her colleagues  who was appointed by the Government starts to investigate about the incidents and find what caused the problems , and a solution for the  problem.

CHARACTERS

Troll : It is the main character in the film . As I said above , it is a mythological creature which is made of soil, mud, rocks, and it looks like a giant. The Troll has purpose in this movie and has it's own personality too.

Nora Tiedamann is one of the main character played by Ine Marie Wilmann. She is a paleontologist , and knows something about Norwegian myths because her father was madly after the Trolls.

There were other characters too but I felt a little significance from them.

CAMERA , DIRECTION AND OTHER TECHNICAL THINGS

I don't know  much about the technical side , but i want to express what i felt.

The Camera work was nice. I didn't felt any wrong about the story telling and the pace of the movie.

the CGI work was fine.

OVERALL

In my overall perspective , I felt like the Troll movie is average. It has almost same plot line as GODZILLA movies. Like other people doesn't believe the one telling the truth. The Protagonist has some special connection with the monster etc, etc.

And there are some plot holes too.

But as a fun Norwegian Monster story with less blood shed and violence , It is entertaining.
