Tsukimichi - Moonlit fantasy is a good ajime from the Isekai genre.
The thing that makes it different from other types of isekai fantasy anime is that the MC in this anime is trying to break a stereotype, and going against the God in that world .
I have that thing for isekai fantasy anime , and I enjoyed this one too. It didn't make me cringe.
STORY
Makoto Misumi is a teenager from Japan. One day he got summoned to another world. It was because his parents made a pact with the God of that world.
Therefore the God summoned Makoto inorder to make him the new Hero.
But when he presented himself in front of the Goddess she didn't like him. She said he looked ugly .
So she dumps him onto that world without even giving a hero title nor any special powers. she cursed him by taking away his ability to understand human language but he can understand every other specie's language.
Like that he gets dumped into a wasteland far from human inhabited areas.
But due to some special conditions between Earth and that world he gets super strength and magic powers. He became a little overpowered.
He wanted to survive from his bad state , and explores the world .
He meets with many other beings of different species and becomes friends with them.
They eventually follows him .
Mokoto builds a community with these people of different beings like demi-humans, dwarfs ,lich etc.
He desperately want to talk to humans and meet them, but he couldn't. The humans feared his presence.
The Goddess was a 'Karen' . So he wanted to change the perspective of the world and bring everybody together.
CHARACTERS
Makoto Misumi: As you should know he is the protagonist of the story. Discriminated by the goddess because he didn't look beautiful.
But he wasn't an introverted person.
He had that positive vibe, and is a fun character.
He is a little bit overpowered but he fought his way through to achieve something.
Makoto wants to unify people , and save from the social discrimination.
His character design is good.
And also there are other characters named Tomo - A dragon lady, Miyo- a spider lady, Shiki- a lich , and Emma.
Makoto has his own personal harem.
All of them pledged their loyalty to Makoto and is devoted to serve him.
This anime has it's share amount of characters some are good some are not so good.
ANIMATION, SOUNDS, AND OTHER THINGS
Animation is good. This anime has that flow in it. Some actions scenes are way good than i expect it to be. Gave me unexpected goosebumps.
Overall art work in the anime is okey-ish.
And also the sound department and the voice acting was good.
Whatever I liked it and enjoyed it thoroughly.
OVERALL
I liked this anime. It is fun to watch. And also i binge watched it.
The thing that is liked most is the unexpected action scene which gave me goosebumps.
As of today I haven't heard about any seacond season announcements. But expects it.
The story reminds me of ' That time I got reincarnated as a slime'. There are a lot of similarities. I am too lazy to find which one came out first. But whatever I enjoyed both.
If you like Isekai anime with fantasy, harem , and an overpowered main character, please give this one a try...
