MODERN FAMILY

Modern Family is one of my Most favorite sit-coms ever. This show has so much to  offer in terms of funny hilarious moments to deep beautiful scenarios .

This  is an American sit-com which was created by Christopher Lloyd and Stevan Levitan.

The huge main cast of this show comprises of Ed O'Neil , Sofia Vergara, Ty Burrel, Julie Bowen, Eric Stonestreet , Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Rico Rodriguez, Jeremy Maguire, Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter, Nolan Gould  Aubrey Anderson-Emmons.

As the name of the show mentions this sit-com revolves around a family and it will lead us to the funny hilarious events taking place in their lives ,and also  the bitter  and joyous moments .

. The show will  deliver a relaxing and refreshing feeling to us and is very enjoyable.

Story 

This is the story about Three Families who are living in California, america.

Jay Pritchett  is the interlinking part of these three families . everyone in these families comprises of children , in laws and grandchildren of Mr. Jay Pritchett.

The 60 year old Jay Pritchett re-marries a 34 year old Colombian woman whose name is Gloria Delgado  . She has a son from the previous relationship whose name is Manny Delgado, And these three people lives together. And this is the First family.

 

The second family consists of Jay's elder daughter Claire Dunphy, her husband Phil Dunphy , their children Haley ,  Alex and Luke.

The third family consists of Jay's son Mitchell his husband Cameron and their daughter Lily.

As a whole this is a one big Modern family and the show follows the things that happening in their lives.

 

 

Characters and cast 

The famous Ed O'Neil plays the role of the Head of the Family Mr. Jay Pritchett. He is a 60 year old successful rich business man  , his beautiful diva like  Latina wife who is in her 30's named Gloria is played by Sofia Vergara, she is not a gold digger , Gloria is a character who is  Kind , loud and passionate and is the badass in the family, later on in the show Jay and Gloria will give birth to a son named Joe played by Jeremy Maguire.

and Rico Rodriguez  plays as her son Manny Delgado, he is kind of creative and philosophical.

Phil Dunphy who is a real estate agent and self proclaimed "cool dad" is played Ty Burrell and his wife Claire Dunphy is portrayed by  Julie Bowen , and she is a house wife. This couple have three children the eldest daughter is Haley Dunphy played by Sarah Hyland , Haley is kind of the popular pretty girl type, she is  bad in studies but smart in her own ways. 

The second daughter or middle child in Dunphy household is Alex Dunphy played by Ariel Winter . She is the Nerdy unpopular type but the smartest character. Alex is the exact opposite of Haley.

The third child is Luke dunphy played by Nolan Gould, Luke is kind of dumb , but an interesting character. He is the same age as Manny.

Mitchell Pritchett played by Jesse Tyler Ferguson is the son of Jay pritchett, he is a lawyer and he also a gay person.

Cameron Tucker played by Eric Stonestreet is the husband of Mitchell , he is from the country side and some times Cameron is the exact opposite of Mitchell.

This couple have an adopted daughter named Lily played by Aubrey Anderson-Emmons.

There are a lot of other characters too like Dylan played by Reid Ewing , Andy played by Adam DeVine and a lot of famous actors did a role in this Sit-com.

 

all the main characters are fantastic. Each and everyone of them have their own personality and depth to their characters and every one of them are memorable and unique. Writers did a good job by making and defining them. 

 

I loved every one of them and my favorite character is Phil dunphy . He is just marvelous. 

coming to the performance part 

PERFORMANCE  

Everyone  did a remarkable job. I loved Ty Burrel's performance as Phil Dunphy , He just completes the character . The innocence in his face ,the comedy timing , acting everything was good. And Julie Bowen too , her chemistry with Ty Burrel was amazing.

 Ed O'Neil never disappointed in playing the role of the patriarch  Jay pritchet. and Sofia vergara too, her character is supposed to be like that like annoying loud   Beautiful and she just lives up to it.

Eric Stonestreet , Jesse Tyler Ferguson did an impressive work in portraying their characters, at first we might think their characters as the stereotypical gay people and they are but there is more to  their characters.

and also Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter, Aubrey , Rico , Jeremy, Nolan all of them did enormous effort and work in to their characters and they were the life of the show and hilarious too.

Each and every actors did a marvelous job in portraying their respective characters . 

OVERALL

In my overall perspective  Modern Family is a amazing Sit-com.

 I enjoyed it thoroughly , It is refreshing, relaxing, mind soothing and hilariously funny. 

As I said above my favorite character was Phil Dunphy , and that character was amazing.

 There is this spoof scene of Godfather movie, That was soo funny and fantastic.

 Some times  Phil  remindes me of Hal played by Bryan Cranston  from malcolm in the middle,and  there might be some references  but both are  entirely different characters.

 

There is something in this show that kept me in the couch , like for some seasons I wanted to know how the child actors grow , how  will they change, like that.

 

  To me This show changed some of my views towards Gay people, In a good way and  I am grateful for that.

And there are a lot of cons about this show too. Some seasons are a bit lagging and some of the characters have less screen time. But I don't care. I enjoyed the show and it kept me entertained. This is a sit com , and we don't need to burn or brains to watch it, we just need to relax and enjoy the show.

This Show Modern Family did Win a lot of awards and name of it's own. and It is available on Disney+ Hotstar.
