This awesome fantasy anime will steal our hearts. The anime Ranking of kings or Ousama ranking is just like a fairy tale.
The main character will get our sympathy from the get go and it is like a roller coaster ride of emotions from that point.
I liked this anime very much and , the style of story telling and the depth of characters are on another level.
Don't be fooled by the children's cartoon looking type animation.
STORY
In this story's world there is a system for selecting the most powerful King. It was a huge deal to become the strongest King.
This story revolves around Bojji. He is a small prince. Bojji doesn't have the ability to hear or talk and moreover his growth was shunned and there was no muscle growth or strength in his body.
Bojji's father The King Bosse was a Giant and the Strongest King who had the number one ranking in the ranking of kings. Eve though Bojji was a Giant by birth he only had the size of a child of age 6-7.
But Bojji doesn't give up. Even though the fate was against him , he always tries his hardest to become the best king.
One day he meets Kage , a shadow creature. Who he befriends. Only Kage understands Bojji. And they were best friends.
The story revolves around Bojji his hardships and the things happening in that kingdom and how bojji manages to overcome his shortcomings.
CHARACTERS
Bojji : Bojji is the son of a Powerful King King Bosse. Even thoughhe doesn't have any hearing ability talking abilty and also shunned his growth from the birth he tries to become the best king.
Bojji is a superb character, he will steal our heart. The design is unique and we will remember him
Kage: Kage is bojji's best friend, he is a shadow creature and a unique character.
There are a lot of characters and all of them are unique and has a depth to their characteristics.
At first sight we might think some are evil or wrong but as the story goes on our opinion might change.
Or example Bojji's step mother Filling. I loved her character.
Even the negative characters are likable.
Everyone is good and are well defined.
ANIMATION, SOUND AND THINGS LIKE THAT
This anime and it's animation just feels like a fairy tale. At first glance we will think that it is a children's anime.. but it's not.
Wit studios has done a fantastic job.
The animation is smooth .. and lived up to what i had expected.
Music,BGM , scores are superb and it blends in with the story and story telling style.
The story is going in a fast paced manner.. so we will never get bored of it.
Also the voice actors did a good job.
OVERALL
I loved Ranking of kings anime very much.. it just connected with me in so many levels. We can sympathize with almost every character.
This anime made me cry both in sorrow and happiness.
If you prejudge this anime by it's arts style, it will be a great loss for you.
All our doubts from the beginning will be solved as the story goes on and it is done in a perfect manner.
It's worth a watch..
