Arifureta: from common place to world's strongest is a typical isekai, harem, ecchi, anime with an overpowered main character.
Its worth just a casual watch..
STORY
The whole students and a teacher from a highschool is transferred to another world to become heroes. The only way to get back to home is by accomplishing the missions and by clearing dungeons.
But there were conflicts between the students.
A teenager named Hagime Nagumo was the weakest in the group, he was a kind and gentle boy.
Upon arriving at the new world every one got new magical powers and attributes. What Hagime got was comparatively useless in battle and that was basic alchemical magic.
All of his classmates considered him to be the weakest.
But that happened.
During a dungeon raid one of Hagime's classmates betrayed him , and tried to kill him.
And as a result Hagime fell in to the depths of the dark ,deep , dangerous dungeon.
Everyone thought Hagime died.
But he survived the fall , but he must survive the dungeon inorder to live.
He was surrounded by dangerous monsters in that deep dark dungeon.
His mind was conflicted with fear, anger, betrayal. Those circumstances and the burning emotions changed his whole character.
He improvised, adapted and overcame those conditions and started to clear the dungeon.
What will be the mystery that the dungeon holds?
What is the purpose of their arrival in another world?
And this is story about Hagime and his adventures with his girlfriends.
CHARACTERS
HAGIME NAGUMO : He is the protagonist, the one incident in the dungeon changed his whole world upside down. Changed his character and attitude.
He became a cold, brutal badass.
He is smart and milks the hell out his magic prowess.
The change in his character is soo good.
The fear, anger, loneliness, betrayal , character development was nice. But after that it felt like something is missing, or was it?
The design of the character is unique and distinguishable.
And the voice actor was good.
There are a lot of characters other than Hagime
Like Yue, she is powerful vampire who was captured in the dungeon , but let loose by Hagime, she was the first companion of Hagime , and now is like a life partner.
And there is Kaori, she is a fellow classmate of Hagime, they both had crush on each other. Now it's complicated.
And also Sheay a rabbit girl, Teo a Drangon lady .
All of them are like a harem to him, and pledged their loyalty to him.
These are typical harem characters, all they want is his attention and is to get laid.
And there is a lot of other characters but I doubt that there will be any attachment from us to them. All of the other characters have less screen time and is kind of shallow.
ANIMATION, SOUND AND OTHER THINGS
Animation is nice, it have that flow in animation. Especially the second season have better animation compared to the first.
Fight sequences are good.
Animation department is overall gave a good performance.
Also the sound department too..music and scores are nice , not boring.
Animation had a fast pace than the manga. And the anime misses a lot of things from manga.
OVERALL
The beginning of the anime was awesome but from there it was going down the hill. First 3-4 episodes was awesome but later it was a cringe fest
Cringy as hell..
They have most of the popular sexual fantasies and fetishes included in the anime.
There is this scene with a dragon.. it was irritating for me.
Here the MC is overpowered and all the girls want him.
There is some faults in continuity. Especially in some characters , for example Hagime , even though we know how he changed and what made him change , for me i couldn't connect with his new behaviour.
And also they tries to make cute characters by force.. it is a major cringe for me. And I doesn't find it cute.
As I said before the anime is fast paced. And misses somethings from manga.
The anime doesn't tries to show what happend and how they came to the new world, and why there is a distance between students .
At this time the second season is airing, and it is more engaging than the first and the animation is soo good.
If you like isekai, ecchi,harem anime with an overpowered main character, you should give this one a try..
Worth a casual watch..
