Awesome anime, I really loved it and enjoyed it.
Usually the protagonist goes to another world.
Here the protagonist comes to Earth.
It has a fare amount of goosebump moments, and a lot to laugh, It is truly hilarious and one of my favourite anime.
STORY
The protagonist of the anime is the devil himself. He was about to conquer the world he was living. But because of his brutal and cruel way of ruling , the people from all over the world united and started a war against The devil.
The United people were led by Heros and kings.
And eventually when the Devil was about to surrender, he made a portal and escaped through it with his right hand man Alzier.
They gets transported to the present Tokyo.
Because Earth have much lesser magic power, the devil can't use his special powers. So in order to gather enough magic, they decided to stick around for a bit.
They accepted human form and rented a small apartment, and also a much human like name .
The devils name was Sadao Mao.
For the living expenses Mao starts going to work in a local McRonalds as a part time employee. And Alzier does all the house hold works and tries to find a way to gather magic.
They were leading a peaceful and normal life , but suddenly a woman appears infront of Mao. She was a former hero who almost defeated Mao. She also got transported to Earth and now works a company. Her name was Emily.
And the Anime is about the fun and normal life they lead .
CHARACTERS
Sadao Mao : He had a terrorising look in the old world, but now he is a good looking youngster living a good life.
He works as a part timer in McRonalds inorder to survive.
The old Mao wanted to rule the world but now he wants to become the Manager of the McRonalds.
He is fun character, he looks like care free fun youngster. He has a bicycle called Dullahan ( usually the name is given to evil villains).
Sadao is comedic and fun, but when it becomes serious, he is serious.
Alzier : He is the right hand man of Mao. Alzier pledged his loyalty to the devil king and serving mao is what he wisher for .
Alzier is a comedic character, I loved him. Here on earth Alzier is always sick. Poor fellow. He does all the cooking cleaning washing.
Emma : She is the great hero from the other world who almost brought The devil to his knees.
But now she is actually stalking mao. It's like her favourite hobby.
ANIMATION,SOUND, AND OTHER THINGS
It have a great animation. It is not that detailed but smooth and flowing. Some fight sequence was awesome. I liked it very much .
The sound department and voice acting was also good. These things will really make you entertained.
Because I binged the whole season .
We can get really immersed in the anime..
The humour is awesome and memorable .
OVERALL
In an overall perspective the anime is great.. I loved it sooo much, and it has that re- watch value.
Especially the comedy, the comedy timing and characters and story was soo good. Man I want to watch it again.
I thinks Devil is a part timer is underrated , beacuse i haven't seen much about this. I don't know if this is my problem or not.
But I really enjoyed it thoroughly, and one of my favourite anime.
Give this one a try.. it is a fun anime...❤️
