A FedEx employ Chuck Norris Played by Tom Hanks gets stranded in an uninhabited , lone island in the middle of Pacific sea after a plane crash.
It is a movie that portraits loneliness,desperation, love and various other emotions .
The movie has few dialogues and the acting of Tom Hanks is marvelous . It felt like I was there with him. we can feel the desperation , urge for companionship , and loneliness. It is one of the best survival movie . Somehow got the vibe of Robinson Crusoe.
Chuck was lonely in the island , he eat crabs, fish and coconut to survive. when he lit a fire I could feel his emotions, when , when he created an imaginary friend I could feel his loneliness and desperation.
It was heart touching when Chuck lost his best friend Wilson a volleyball. It was Wilson and memories of chuck's girlfriend Kelly who kept him alive without committing suicide . when Chuck got rescued and found out that Kelly had married some other person he was heart broken, The film succeeded showing the complex feelings between those two and the love between them.
For me the film is marvelous and an was an experience. It taught me that the some moments will turn our life around , if you like it or not, you have to accept it and move on.
