STORY
Lucifer Morningstar aka. the Devil got tired of the life in hell and decides to live the rest of his life here on earth accompanied by his loyal guardian demon Mazikeen.
He came to Los Angels and bought a Night club , and enjoyed his extravagant life.
In this story the devil is very different from what we heard of, he is harmless, fun loving, witty and definitely not evil.
The God cursed Lucifer and banished him from heaven and send him to hell as it's jailor. Here Lucifer is kind.
And one day on earth he witnessed a murder. Someone he knew got shot and he investigated the murder. While investigating he met a dictative , that is our heroine Chloe Deccer. An extraordinary dictative, she is beautiful and has top notch intelligence .
Lucifers special power or his ' mojo ' doesn't works on her . And something in her attracts him.
Lucifer liked Chole and also because of the thrill he gets from unveiling the Mystery in each case he joins the police department as a consultant.
For every problem in his life he gets an answer while unraveling the case.
CHARACTERS
Tom Ellis acted as Lucifer Morningstar . The Devil himself is the main character. He is very different from what we knew from the old stories.
His character is very fun loving. He enjoys his life by doing drugs, liquor, sex, music, partying.. etc. He has money and power . And lives the life most of us dream of.
But he is sad inside , he has many family problems. Like his father banished him from his house , his mother doesn't care about him, his siblings hate him, and on top of that all the humans blame lucifer for their sins.
After spending years down on hell he gets bored of his life on hell and decides to come to earth.
This character has very depth he is like a rebellious son, childish and carefree, he is selfish and but he is good and not evil. And also he doesn't lie.
Then there is Chloe Deccer , the dictative. She is a honest, responsible and beautiful police officer.
She is very Intelligent and she has something special in her thats why Lucifer is attracted to her.
These two are the main characters of the series.
And also the others.
Amanadiel , an angel sibling of Lucifer
Linda, Lucifer's therapist.
Dan Espanosa , a police officer
Mazikeen, a demon
Ella Lopez, forensic scientist in the police department ,
Charlet and Trixy.
These people are the life of the show. All of them have very good character development and has depth in their character.
WRITING AND DIRECTION
The writters had done a good job. Because of the presence of fantacy factor linking it with the other content was nice .
Direction was good. But the action scenes was average, this show has a good potential for using special effects. But they reduced the use of it , i think budget problems.
SOUND ,CAMERA, AND OTHER THINGS
The songs used in this series was very calssic, all the songs was good.
Fight scenes was average , it didn't gave me any goosebumps, but not bad.
Camera work and music gave the series it's special identity ❤️.
OVERALL
I liked the series very much.
This was one of the show i watched during the most hard times of my life. It really kept me entertained and helped me to escape from reality.
This series shows the faults in the 'God Concept' . But the writers done a great job balancing it .
In the beginning of the series it gave a dark vibe, but with time it was positive, fun, funny and much entertaining.
